WORLD ELDERS’ DAY – 2008

Venue Motel Lalit Palace, Kishan Nagar, Kaulargarh Road Dehradoon

The worlds’ elder day was celebrated on Wednesday 1^st October, 2008.

Some of the salient features were:

Sarees, suit pieces and sewing machines were distributed to the some of the old, economically weak and needy women of Dehra Dun.

Scholarships were distributed to selected, deserving and needy students.

Light entertainment through the media of a poems, Gazals, Shairee, and songs were arranged by the members.

This was followed by a lunch to the members, the guests and other attending the function.
